Poster-style rainy season artwork for In the Rain: เมื่อฝนมาเยือน at Chula Museum

In the Rain: เมื่อฝนมาเยือน

In the Rain: เมื่อฝนมาเยือน invites visitors to slow down with the rainy season through artworks from the Chulalongkorn University collection. The exhibition runs from 6 July to 6 October 2026 at Chula Museum.

Rather than simply showing landscapes of rain, the exhibition explores how weather shifts memory, emotion, and the pace of everyday life. It gathers works by Thai artists including Kamol Sunpongsri, Chainarong Charoenpanichkul, Thavee Tangmongkolvanich, Navin Tanthanadecha, Nikorn Chaiyotha, Pratuang Emjaroen, Praphan Srisuta, Pimpimon Pisuthiphorn, Vinai Prabripoo, Somsak Chowtadapong, Somwong Thappharat, Sawasdi Tantisuk, Surachai Ekplakorn, and Itthi Khongkhakul.

What to expect

  • Before the Rain, Within the Rain, and After the Rain — three exhibition chapters that follow the emotional rhythm of rain.
  • A reflective look at how atmosphere, memory, and inner feeling connect through art.
  • A calm weekday museum stop in central Bangkok, with free admission.
