Echoes of the Future: Glod’s Bangkok Odyssey Exhibition to Showcase a Fusion of Thai Tradition, Modern Art, and Global Issues.

 Marcin Glod, widely known as GLOD, is set to take the art scene in Bangkok for the first time by storm with his upcoming exhibition, “Echoes of the Future: Glod’s Bangkok Odyssey,” hosted at Public House Sukhumvit 31 , Bangkok , Thailand.  Public House is not just a boutique hotel; it is a multi-sensory cultural hub meticulously designed for sharing experiences. Our immersive and inclusive space aims to create a sense of belonging for both guests and locals, ensuring they truly feel connected to the heartbeat of the city. 

The exhibition will run from January 20 to February 29, with a grand opening night scheduled on January 20 at 6 pm (Free Entry)

“Echoes of the Future ” promises a unique blend of Thai tradition, historical elements, and global contemporary issues, all reinterpreted through GLOD’s distinctive modern art style. The exhibition will showcase a collection of his signature pieces, combining street art graffiti, painting, and pop cultural references. GLOD’s work often engages with current events and social developments, using iconic figures and symbols such as the pink panther and the dollar sign.

Artist Profile:

Marcin Glod, known as GLOD, hails from Poland and spent his formative years in Vienna, Austria. Initially, GLOD excelled in graphic design and creative direction before stepping into the public art sphere. His artworks seamlessly blend street art graffiti with painting, showcasing a wide range of creativity. Pop cultural references, iconic figures, and symbols are integral to his style, reflecting his engagement with contemporary issues.

GLOD’s artistic journey has spanned across the globe, with solo exhibitions held in prominent cities, including London Amsterdam Berlin Dubai Munich Vienna and more.

GLOD’s art incorporates historical components, bridging the gap between contemporary and classical art. His use of various media, from traditional canvases to recycled items, emphasizes sustainability in the art world. GLOD’s artistic achievements have been showcased in galleries and art fairs both nationally and internationally. 

In 2023, he co-founded Nomz gallery in Vienna, where he inaugurated the year with his solo exhibition.
